I signed a contract as No Pet at first, but I like to own a cat now.. Can I just bring a pet in my apartment?

If you reside in a no-pet apartment unit, it’s definitely not a good idea to sneak in a dog, or a cat, etc.. even just for a hour or so. A picture of a pet in your unit would cost you a lot of money and grief. Our maintenance crew will probably bring in special equipment (moisture readings, sulfur testings, black light devices)
to test for any damages (if any) on the carpet.

You may be evicted since you now have breached your signed rental contract. It also means you are still responsible for paying rent for your entire remaining months on your contract.

Your credit is now ruined because you will be evicted. You will need to pay for any damages. You won’t be able to get a good job, another apartment, car loan , etc… for years.
Protect yourself, say ‘NO’ to pets! (even for a minute)NoPets
